Patient Access Department - Help in the registration process, escort patients, deliver flowers, provide excellent customer service
Mail delivery
Staff the surgical waiting room
Clerical support
Special projects
Mobile meals
SHIPP (Senior Health Insurance Information Program)
Volunteers assist seniors with medicare Supplements, long term care insurance and Medicare prescription drug coverage.

Volunteer assignments can be arranged with your schedule. We do ask for at least a one year commitment.

Volunteer Opportunities in the Community through RSVP (must be 55 or older)

American Cancer Society Discovery Shop: Help with donations of clothes, cashier, and help customers
American Red Cross: Help with disaster preparedness, take preparedness training
Hursing Homes: Visit with residents, help with activities, please call RSVP office for complete list of locations
Dubuque Arboretum nad Botanical Gardens: Help in gardens and gift shop
Dubuque Community Schools nad Western Dubuque Schools: Listen to students read, act as classroom assistant
Dubuque County Historical Society/National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium
Dubuque Food Pantry
Finley Hospital
Finley Hospital Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP)
Kids on the Block: Perform puppet shows to teach third graders about those who have a disabiltiy
Mercy Medical Center Dubuque and Dyersville
Mines of Spain: Help with trails, and in the gift shop
Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center: Help with the blood drives
Presentation Lantern Center: Assist at the welcome center, help people learn English and study for citizenship exam
Scenic Valley Area AGency on Aging-Meals on Wheels program at Finley and other locations in the county
Small Claims Court mediation
VNA Representative Payee Program
Washington Tool Lirary: Assist with check out of tools
