Dear friends and neighbors in the Tri-state area:
After an exciting 2012, which saw Finley open its new cardiac catheterization service, start robotic surgery at the hospital and celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Wendt Regional Cancer Center, one might think we’d take a break in 2013.
Not so. In our efforts to provide the Best Outcome For Every Patient Every Time, slowing down is not an option. Last year, we conducted a thorough study of Finley’s facilities, combined with a detailed analysis to determine the services we must provide to meet future community needs. As a result of that Master Facilities Plan, Finley will break ground in the second half of the year on a major addition to include a new Emergency Department, state-of-the-art operating room suites, and a dedicated space to house our growing cardiac service…all right on our Grandview campus.
You will be learning more about this important project as the year progresses and these new opportunities come closer to reality.
