Respiratory Care

Certified and registered therapists are on duty in the hospital 24 hours a day to provide respiratory care services to in and out patients of all ages. Respiratory Care staff is part of the Rapid Response, Code Blue/Code Pink Team, as well as the Trauma Team.

Respiratory Care Services provide the following services: Oxygen Administration, Aerosol and Humidity Therapy, Chest Physical Therapy, Arterial and Capillary Blood Gas Analysis, Pulmonary Function Testing, Incentive Spirometry, Metered Dose Inhalers, Bi-Pap/C-Pap, Suctioning and Bronchial Hygiene, IPPB, Mechanical Ventilation and Oximetry.

Cardiology Services include the following diagnostic tests: Electrocardiograms (EKGs), Adenisone EKG's, Signal Average EKG's, Holter Monitoring, Cardiac Stress Testing/Thallium Stress Testing, Echocardiograms with Color Flow and Doppler, Stress-echocardiography and Dobutamine Stress-echocardiography.

Neuro-diagnostics include the following diagnostic tests: Electroencephalograms (EEGs), Brainstem Auditory Evoked Potentials, Visual Evoked Potentials, Somato Sense Evoked Potentials-upper and lower limbs and EEG-Carotid Surgery monitoring.
