Each year, the department provides services to more than 1700 patients that arrive by ambulance. The Finley Emergency/Trauma Center is a pleasant, comforting blend of spaciousness and efficient service accessibility. Sophisticated, state-of-the-art laboratory and radiology services are located right in the department, providing for the comfort and privacy of the patient and family, as well as the efficient delivery of service by healthcare professionals. The Finley Emergency/Trauma Center is well prepared for the large and small emergencies in your life... 24 hours a day. Parents of Minor Children State law prohibits hospitals from treating minor children, except in life-threatening situations, without first obtaining permission from the child's parents or legal guardian. This law is designed to protect all parties involved, but it can result in delays while hospital personnel attempt to locate a child's parent.
